Non-Nano Zinc Oxide
This is the backbone of Elemental Armor. Widely known in dermatology, zinc oxide is the classic mineral UV filter, noted for a broad UVA-UVB absorption curve and for providing broad-spectrum protection, including long-wavelength UVA. It is the ingredient that gives the formula its true “armor” identity.
Comfrey Comfrey helps support the skin through the full sun-exposure cycle. Zinc oxide does the heavy lifting on UV defense, while comfrey steps in as a traditional herbal ally for the skin itself. Its naturally occurring allantoin has been studied for its role in supporting skin repair processes, and rosmarinic acid has shown protective activity against UVB-related skin stress in preclinical research. Together, that makes comfrey a strong botanical fit for helping skin stay calm, cared for, and supported after time in the sun.
Coconut Oil
The carrier of the magic. Coconut oil brings a smooth, conditioning feel and helps support the skin barrier.
